Lauren first met Haddon Township Realtor Pip Haxby-Thompson in 2022, when she wanted to tour a quaint bungalow in the area. 224 Morgan Ave was 1,000sqft and relatively outdated, but she had a vision of totally renovating the home, and so with Pip's help, purchased it for $315,000.
Over 2 years, Lauren tore down the wall between kitchen and dining room and installed a brand new state-of-the-art Chef's Kitchen. She upgraded the first floor bathroom with premium finishes. The backyard was treated to a charming patio. And what was once a dull, concrete-lined unfinished basement was totally finished, with new carpeting, electric fireplace and kitted out as the perfect movie room, with a brand new powder room/half bathroom down there!
Her original plan had to been to install a whole second floor on this single level bungalow, where she could build out her dream primary bedroom suite upstairs. But after enduring 2 years of major renovations, the idea of another lengthy and expensive project didn’t appeal to her. Instead, she reached out to Pip to explore selling and finding her dream home. After a few months of househunting and liaising with her mortgage lender, Lauren found the perfect home in Audubon, and was able to finance it non-contingent (meaning she could buy it, move on in, and only then worry about selling 224 Morgan Ave later on).
After closing, Pip got to work with an ✨incredible✨ marketing campaign on the bungalow: you can read all about it below. Pip created a teaser Coming Soon campaign that amassed thousands of eyes on the home before it even hit the market, and was strategic with the timings of bringing it to market. He also savvily priced it to attract the most attention.
On day 1 of 224 Morgan Ave in Haddon Township being on the market, they'd had 25~ showings, multiple offers, a bidding war broke out, and Lauren accepted an incredible over-ask offer less than 24 hours later. Lauren was thrilled; they closed just 3 weeks later. She walked away with a sizeable profit (recovering every dollar she'd invested in the bungalow), and is now in her fully-renovated dream home in Audubon!

The 224 Morgan Ave Marketing Campaign involved a 2 week teaser Coming Soon campaign, professional photography, professional videography, a series of social media posts, a targeted email campaign (to 3.5k buyers househunting in 08108 and the surrounding area), mailing the neighborhood, and an extraordinary Zillow Showcase Listing profile that 'hacked' the Zillow algorithm to shoot this home to the top of everyone's search.
